My latest thrift store find

I scored this awesome aviary clock the other day at a local Salvation Army for $12.99! We've been in need of a clock and this was just the perfect size and color for our space. LOVE when the universe comes together. ♥

Merry Christmas Eve

It seems that retailers are celebrating the holidays earlier and earlier every year.  Usually this irritates me to no end.  Today, however, I was willing to overlook that fact simply because of the cool new treasure i found at Target's latest dollar section (Yes, TODAY).

P.S.  Yes, that IS an upcoming class you sense.  :)  Merry Christmas!

Fab Finds!

I LOVE finding cool, CHEAP products to scrapbook with that aren't always intended for that purpose.  One of my favorite places to find such product?  Why, the dollar store, of course.  LOVE IT.  My most recent finds? 

I practically jumped up and down when i found this in the children's book aisle.  It's a little book (about 6x6) that has a metal tin attached.  Originally i think it was meant to store cheerios, go figure.  But how cool is this?  I can't WAIT to create something fun with this... oh and i bought a ton of them with the thought of a future class so stay tuned!

I found a GREAT pack of assorted paperclips in rainbow colors (i happen to be addicted to them- they're great for just about everything!).  And how COOL is this FOAM STAMP SET?  Yes, i swear i got this at the dollar store. :) The box contains four square stamps in an array of animal prints.   FYI, there were a few other sets to choose from; this just happened to be my personal favorite.  :)

SO there ya go..  great items for around a buck.  It's fun for me to come up with a new spin on an old thing and just as satisfying to get a great product for a low price.  What are you still sitting around reading this for?  Get to shoppin'!

Target pics

Here's a pic of the stuff i got at target the other day...  They're not all in the 'scrapbook' dollar section, but actually in with the other themes (bicycling, tropical).  I suppose i like to find things that aren't meant for scrapbooking and incorporate them somehow.  I plan on turning the purse into a mini-album.

 

Target Treasures

I have a confession to make.  I am completely addicted to Target's dollar section.  Have you SEEN the stuff in there?  AWESOME.  And I love it that they have running themes.  So cool.  I headed over there this morning because I needed a few things and saw that they had a whole new summer scrapbook collection in the dollar section!  SUPER COOL stuff in there!  I got these cool tiny license plate holders and a lot of mini-albums.  They even have paper and stickers.  My favorite find aside from the license plate holders was a little purse with bamboo handles.  I already know what i'm going to do with that-  just you wait and see....  =)
